Masks for Harm: How O9A and JoS Counterfeit Satanism

If you have to staple a swastika to your altar or paste aliens over Enki to make your faith interesting, you’re not practicing Satanism—you’re counterfeiting it. The Order of Nine Angles and Joy of Satan are two of the loudest forgeries in circulation. Different aesthetics, same fraud. Both replace sovereign reason with a totalizing script that consumes the individual. Both wrap their pitch in a pentagram-shaped mask and hope you won’t check the watermark.

Strip the mystique from O9A and you’re left with a decentralized neo-Nazi accelerationist current that sacralizes infiltration, cruelty, and “culling,” then calls it initiation. That’s not edgy philosophy; it’s a behavioral pipeline. Even the mainstream explainers now label O9A precisely: decentralized, Satanic, neo-Nazi, and increasingly influential across accelerationist networks.

The receipts aren’t theoretical. A U.S. Army private, Ethan Melzer, swallowed the poison, plotted an insider ambush on his own unit, and drew 45 years. Doctrine to action, mask off.

Follow the ugliest thread and it gets darker. One of O9A’s most visible strains, Tempel ov Blood (via Martinet Press), publishes material with graphic depictions of child sexual abuse and violence to desensitize readers and lower the floor for real-world harm; researchers also map O9A-style nexions tied to spreading CSAM and blending with nihilistic extremist subcultures. When your “initiation” requires crossing lines that protect children, you aren’t walking a Left-Hand Path. You’re wearing a mask for harm.

Zoom out and you see the metastasis: the 764 network—an online predator ecosystem that grafts Satanist aesthetics onto child-exploitation and self-harm coercion. Analysts and consortia reporting link 764’s culture to O9A-style imagery; U.S. authorities have now charged alleged leaders for running a global CSAM enterprise. This isn’t rumor; it’s court filings and newsroom forensics.

And authorities have flagged the pattern inside O9A’s orbit more broadly: texts promoting rape and paedophilia, official concern about the number of paedophiles associated with O9A, and multiple convictions in the U.S. and UK tied to sexual assault and child-abuse material among adherents. Take the mask off and you’re left with a machine that romanticizes transgression until it becomes a crime scene.

Now the other forgery: Joy of Satan. This isn’t adversarial atheism sharpened by reason; it’s pulp theism—“Satan = Enki,” ancient astronauts, racial destiny—stitched together with conspiracy. The part that matters most is simpler: they built on-ramps for minors. “Kids and Teens for Satan,” right on the site, pitched at ages 13–19, with “high priests/priestesses” standing by to guide “serious” demon work. That isn’t mentorship; it’s a funnel.

The extremist bleed-through isn’t internet gossip. Joy of Satan’s leadership ties to the National Socialist Movement blew back so hard it helped trigger public infighting; even watchdog reporting at the time cites NSM figures leaving “citing disgust with Herrington’s Joy of Satan ties.” Counterfeit ethics meet counterfeit politics.

Let’s put the stake through it. Satanism—the spine-having, reality-first kind—does not target children. Full stop. The bright line in our lineage isn’t painted, it’s carved: “Do not harm little children.” If your “path” grooms teens or treats child abuse as a dialectical tool, you are not on a Satanic path. You’re a predator operating under counterfeit marks.

Spare me the “transgression as awakening” sales pitch. Real transgression is owning yourself against the grain and taking responsibility for the wake you leave behind. O9A’s “insight roles” are cosplay for cruelty; Tempel ov Blood’s desensitization scripts admit the goal—dehumanize, then weaponize. Joy of Satan’s teen pipeline is consent-laundering—stacking authority, mystique, and group identity over unstable years when people need honest skepticism, not revelation cosplay. Satanism worthy of the name is adults-only because it demands a formed will, tested reason, and the power to contract. You don’t “dedicate” a child to an adversarial philosophy. You raise adults who can say yes or no and mean it.

Here’s the diagnostic you can run on your wrist in real time. Does a group demand fealty to a cosmic struggle, a race myth, or an esoteric vanguard? You’re raw material. Does it normalize cruelty as a rite, or romanticize abuse as a lever for “aeonic change”? You’re stock, not a sovereign. Does it court minors—by content, community design, or “special youth groups”? You’re in a funnel. A Satanist who knows their lineage doesn’t need a committee or a cult to feel powerful. They need only the reality test: evidence over myth, consent over coercion, contract over charisma, responsibility over ritual. Everything else is incense and a counterfeit seal.

I’m not naïve. The word “Satan” will always be a magnet for those chasing danger as a costume, or cruelty as a thrill. That’s why boundaries matter. You want darkness? Own it like an adult. Choose your risks, keep your contracts, repair your damage, measure your beliefs by the world—not by memes in a chatroom. And if anyone waves a sigil while asking you to hurt a child, a stranger, or yourself, drop the sigil and walk. The adversary in you is a mirror, not a muzzle. Don’t let predators teach you their reflection.

Embrace who you are—without cult handlers. Live your best possible life—by your choices and the costs you accept. Conquer your perceived world—by facing reality head-on and refusing to be drafted into anyone’s blood-and-myth project. That’s how you spot a forgery at a glance—and refuse to spend it.
